Take Thee O Lord mine heart of stone,
Unite it to Thine Sacred Heart,
From whence Thy Blood our sins atone,
May it lead us to where Thou art.
Take Thee O Lord mine groaning soul,
Fill it with Thy Spirit Blessed,
Thy Grace shall once more make it whole,
In Thine love may it e'er be dressed.
Take Thee O Lord mine wearied mind,
Light it with Thine perfect wisdom,
May Thou make it willing to find,
Thy Holy Will, my sole freedom.
May all praise be unto Thee my King,
May all mine being be Thine alone,
Into mine soul thy salvation bring,
Blessed be Thee, my God enthroned!
